Balangir: A week after DJ Azex of Odisha was found dead under mysterious circumstances, popular Odia album actress Ruchismita Guru was found hanging in a house in Odisha’s Balangir town on Sunday.
According to sources, Ruchismita, who stays at Talapalipada in the town, had gone to her maternal uncle’s house at Sudapada along with her mother, a few days back. She was found hanging with a saree from a ceiling fan in a room of the house on this evening.
A team from Balangir Town police station went to the house and sent the body for post-mortem. The police have registered an unnatural death case and started investigation.
Beside acting, Ruchismita was also a well-known singer. She belongs to Birmaharajpur of Sonepur district.
It may be noted that DJ Azex aka Akshay Kumar was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his residence in Bhubaneswar on March 19. He reportedly died by suicide and his body was found hanging in his room.
