Bhubaneswar: Odia psychological crime thriller, ‘Four’, starring actors Partha Sarathi Ray, Kalke Krushna, Satyaranjan and Prasanjit Mohapatra, will get released on Odisha’s first audiovisual streaming platform, AAO NXT, on December 21.
Directed by Abhishek Swain, the thriller is a collection of four short films. The makers have remained tight-lipped about the content so far. “It will be the first-of-its-kind thriller in Odia. Can’t reveal much about the characters, which are very interesting,” said Abhishek.
The entire film has been shot in Bhubaneswar. It features a few new faces in acting, filmmaking, and scriptwriting.
Earlier, Abhishek’s silent short film ‘Life Drop’ had won the Best Film Award at the ‘Human Rights Short Film Festival’ held in Bangladesh. His film had bagged the first prize among 738 films across 82 countries at the two-day festival, jointly organised by Dhaka University of Film Society and the United Nations of Bangladesh.
