Odia Feature Film ‘Tulasi Apa’ Marks Debut On Amazon Prime World Wide

Bhubaneswar: A biopic on social activist and Padma Shri awardee Tulasi Munda titled ‘Tulasi Apa’, has become the first Odia feature film to be featured on Amazon Prime World Wide.

Through Amazon Prime, now movie lovers an see watch this film from any country.

Incidentally, ‘Tulasi Apa’ was the last film directed by late Amiya Patnaik. Produced by Anupam Patnaik, the movie stars Barsha Nayak, Madhusmita, Lochani Bag, Premanjan Parida, Mamata Panda, Sujit Paikray and Choudhury Bikas Das.

Chinmaya Das Panaik has written the dialogues of the movie, where as cinematography has been done by Arjun Jena.

Made in 2015, ‘Tulasi Apa’, has received six state-level awards.

Born in 1947, Tulasi Munda led a movement against illiteracy and exploitation of mine workers in Keonjhar district. She also made a major contribution in the education of girls in the region.
