Nasik: An Odia was among the four labourers killed when an overhead water tank collapsed at Someshwar Colony on the Gangapur Road in Nasik district of Maharashtra on Tuesday. Two others were also seriously injured.
The deceased Odia labourer has been identified as Sudam Gahira (30), the Gangpur police said.
The incident took place at about 8.30 am when the labourers were working in an under-construction building near the water tank.
Following information, police rushed to the spot, extracted the three bodies from the debris and admitted the three injured to the hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries.
