Nuapada: An Odia migrant worker, who had returned from Mumbai, committed suicide after allegedly killing his three-month-old son on Sunday.
The incident, which took place at Chandoparba village in Nuapada district, came to light after the man’s wife filed a police complaint.
The deceased, identified as Nilu Shabar, had returned to his native place from Mumbai and had been in quarantine with his family. After completing quarantine period, he shifted to a relative’s place near his village.
On Sunday, he killed his infant son and committed suicide. Police have started investigations.
