Bhubaneswar: After a gap of almost four months, the Odisha film industry is slowly getting back on track. The shooting of several movies, which was stalled due to the COVID pandemic, has started and Mahurat of several others are also being held.
The mahurat of Ollywood movie ‘Spot Boy’ was held here in the city recently. Aswin Tripathy, an anchor and actor, will make his debut as a director on the big screen with this movie.
Producers of the movie, which is a family drama, are Ramesh Barik and K Tamanna. It is being produced under the ‘RR Events’ and ‘Studio 365’ banners.
Dr Rajani Ranjan has written dialogues of the movie and the music has been composed by Asad Nizam.
“Shooting of the movie will be started from September 10. We are in the process of finalising the lead actors,” informed Ramesh Barik.
