Odia Newspaper Owner Held For ‘Forging’ UP CM Yogi’s Sign For Ads

Bhubaneswar: The owner of an Odia newspaper, ‘Samaj Aaina’, has been arrested for allegedly forging the letterhead and signature of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for financial gains.

The accused, Manoj Seth, was nabbed from Station Square in the city by Delhi police with the help of Kharvel Nagar cops here on Friday for the fraud, which took place in 2016.

He had sought advertisements from various central government organisations for his publications that were circulated in Delhi by allegedly forging letterhead and signature of Yogi Adityanath – the then MP of Uttar Pradesh, police sources said.
