Cuttack: Popular Odia teleserial artist Laxmipriya Behera aka Nikita died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital here on Saturday afternoon.
According to sources, Nitaka had sustained head injuries after falling off the terrace of her house at Mahanadi Vihar here on Friday and was admitted to a private hospital.
The actor had won hearts with her roles in TV soaps, including ‘Tapasya’ and ‘ACP Nikita’. Following her debut in Ollywood with ‘Akhi kholibaku dara laguchi’, she also featured in several movies like ‘Chori chori mana chori’, ‘Maa Ra Panatakani’, ‘Smile Please’ and ‘Mita Basichi Bhoota Sathire’.
