Bhubaneswar: An Odia woman from Ganjam district has been crowned as the first runner-up in the Classy Icons of South India Beauty contest 2022.
According to sources, Tapaswini Barada, from Sikiri village in Hinjilicut of Ganjam, won the first runner-up prize in the beauty contest held in Bengaluru. She was given the title ‘Mrs South India’ in the national-level beauty contest organised by Anish Creation. She participated in the beauty contest as the face of Karnataka.
Tapaswini lives in Bengaluru with her husband, Srikanth Barada, and a son. While Tapaswini works in the finance field, her husband works in an IT company.
“My husband, family, and in-laws have completely supported me in my career choices. It’s because of their support and motivation that I have achieved this success in my life,” said Tapaswini.
She further said that participating in beauty contests is not easy given her busy schedule. “I am working hard to balance my profession and career interests,” added Tapaswini.
