Bhubaneswar: A 30-year-old youth of Odisha’s Bhadrak district and two others from Bihar were reportedly choked to death in Bahrain’s Crown Electro and Mechanical Services.
According to reports, Debashis Sahoo from Kismat village under Chandbali Tehsil of Bhadrak district was working as a mechanical fitter in the firm since 2015. He along with two other workers went 35 feet under the ground with oxygen support to carry out some plumbing work on Sunday.
They, however, soon started feeling suffocated and later choked to death.
The three were pulled up and their families were informed about the tragedy.
Debashis was planning to return home in 2021, his family informed.
