Odia Youth Drowns In Visakhapatnam Sea, 3 Others Go Missing

Bhubaneswar: Two youths drowned and two went missing while bathing in sea at Visakhapatnam of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. One of them belongs to Odisha.

According to police sources, the four youths, all relatives, had gone on a picnic to Visakhapatnam. While one of them belongs to Cuttack, three others were from Hyderabad in Telangana, the sources in Town III police station in Visakhapatnam said.

While the arrangement for the picnic on the RK beach in the city was going on, the youths went to take bath in sea. As they were bathing, strong sea current drove them into deep water and all of them went missing.

The life guards present on the beach launched a search operation and found bodies of two youths. The search operation was going on to trace the other two youths till the report was filed.
