Puri: A youth was killed when a bus en route to Astaranga in Puri from Bhubaneswar overturned near Pipili toll gate on Friday.
According to sources, the bus, carrying over 50 passengers, overturned after hitting a road divider near the toll gate when the driver tried to navigate a vehicle, which veered towards it.
While the helper of the bus died on the spot, 15 others sustained injuries. The toll gate workers and local police rushed the injured to Pipili hospital and Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar for immediate medical treatment.
