Odisha: 100-Year-Old Vice Admiral SH Sarma No More

Bhubaneswar: Vice Admiral SH Sarma, PVSM (Veteran) died on Monday evening at a hospital in Bhubaneswar. He had celebrated his 100th birthday on December 1.

The mortal remains of Odisha-born Vice Admiral Sarma will be taken to his home at Nilakantha Nagar here by 12.30 pm on January 4.

The body will be kept at his house for people to pay their last respects before the last rites at Swargadwar.

He was recently in Delhi for the celebration of the Azadi Ka Amrut Mahostav.
