Balangir: Police have seized around 1200 bottles of cough syrup while being transported illegally and arrested 3 persons in this connection in Odisha’s Balangir district.
Following reliable information that a vehicle was carrying the cough syrup bottles from Cuttack, a team of Balangir Town police station stood guard at the entry point of the town. They have registered a case and started a manhunt to trace the mastermind of the racket whose identity was revealed by the arrested persons during questioning, police sources said.
