Bhubaneswar: A number of organisations donated to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) at Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar for providing relief to the people affected by cyclone Dana and undertaking post-cyclone restoration work.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi received this assistance from them for providing assistance to cyclone victims.
Official sources said Rs 50 lakh was donated by KMV Project Limited, Rs 10 lakh by Vigyan Bharati Charitable Trust, Rs 5 lakh by High Yield Estate Private Limited, Rs 2 lakh by Surya Kshetra Foundation, Rs 2 lakh by Shivani Resources and Rs 2,01000 by the children of St. Xavier’s School Bhubaneswar.
A total of Rs 71 lakh has been donated by six organisations.
The Chief Minister thanked everyone for coming forward to help the people of the state.
