Odisha: 6 Railway Employees Honoured By ECoR For Dedication & Alertness

Bhubaneswar: East Coast Railway (ECoR) General Manager Parmeshwar Funkwal felicitated six front line railway employees for their outstanding dedication, alertness, and contribution towards ensuring safe and uninterrupted train operations.

The six employees were:

John Edward Tirkey, Track Maintainer, Bissam cuttack

Amarjeet Kumar Singh, Track Maintainer, Muniguda

Laxman Kumar Patra, Track Maintainer, Loisingha

Manoj Sika, Track Maintainer, Loisingha

Bijaya Kumar Behera, Track Maintainer, Joranda Road

Pradyumna Kumar Panda, Pointsman, Humma

Their timely response and proactive actions ensured operational safety, prevented potential disruptions, and upheld the high safety standards of Indian Railways.

While presenting the awards, Funkwal lauded their commitment. “Our frontline staff — Track, Signal and OHE Maintainers, Loco Pilots, Technicians, and Station Managers — form the backbone of railway operations. Their vigilance and dedication are what keep the network running efficiently and safely,” he said
