Cuttack: The Bharatiya Bikash Parishad on Tuesday urged the Orissa High Court to direct the state government to order a CBI probe into the death of Assistant Conservator of Forests of Paralakhemundi Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra.
The Parishad has filed a public interest litigation (PIL) in the court. The PIL has named the Union Home Secretary, Chief Secretary and Home Secretary of Odisha, the state DGP, Gajapati SP and IIC of Paralakhemundi police station as respondents.
