Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Principal In Vigilance Net

Bhawanipatna: Principal of Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya in Madanpur of Odisha’s Kalahandi district, Khitish Bhusan Biswal, has been caught red-handed by Vigilance officers while accepting bribe.

On a tip-off, Koraput division vigilance laid a trap and caught Biswal while taking a bribe of Rs 40,000 from one Gangadhar Bag of M Rampur village to issue an appointment order in Bag’s favour for Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper post in the school.

Biswal was caught taking the bribe money in front of the school on Thursday. The bribe money was recovered from his possession.

The vigilance also searched his Government residential quarter at Madanpur and his house at Kanakatara village in Jharsuguda district. He has been arrested and will be forwarded to court.
