Odisha Adds 68 New Cases To COVID-19 Tally, Highest From Khurda

Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 68 new COVID-19 cases in 21 districts in the last 24 hours.

It is for the third consecutive day that the state saw over 60 new infections. It had reported 62 and 69 cases on Tuesday and Monday respectively.

Of 68 new positive cases, 40 are from quarantine centres while 28 are local contacts.

Khurda district registered the highest of 9 cases, followed by Sambalpur (7),  the I & PR department tweeted on Wednesday.

  14. Malkangiri: 1
  15. Mayurbhanj: 3
  16. Nawarangpur: 1
  17. Puri: 3
  18. Rayagada: 1
  19. Sambalpur: 7
  20. Sonepur: 2
  21. Sundargarh: 6
  22. State Pool: 1

The number of positive cases in Odisha now stands at 336835 and 625 among them are active.
