Bhubaneswar: With 82 per cent 1st dose coverage, Odisha is at number 3 among the states in the country.
According to sources, five lakh doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to registered beneficiaries in the last one month. Since the nationwide rollout of the drive on January 16, 16.3.85 lakh healthcare workers (HCWs) and 1.47 lakh frontline workers (more than 65 per cent) have been vaccinated.
More than 79,000 HCWs have so far received the second shot of the vaccines.
The state has received 11,84,350 doses, including 9.31 lakh Covishield and 2.53 lakh Covaxin.
On the other hand, Odisha has been witnessing a sustained decline in its COVID-19 active caseload, which has plunged further to 616.
