Bhubaneswar: All Anganwadi centres in the state will be closed till August 31 in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak, the I &PR department informed.
However, Anganwadi workers will supply “dry rations” under the Supplement Nutrition Program in order to ensure that preschool children in the age group of 3-6 years get their morning snacks and hot cooked meals.
Earlier, the School and Mass Education Department had asked to provide food security allowance till August 31 to eligible students.
