Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday approved an additional budget provision of Rs 9,829 crore for 2017-18.
Following a meeting of council of ministers, chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, at state secretariat here, Finance Minister Sashi Bhusan Behera said, “The money will be spent on several public welfare schemes relating to road and infrastructural development projects. “
“It has been decided to present the first supplementary statement of expenditure for 2017-18 during the winter session of the state assembly on November 30. The Appropriation Bill will be tabled in the assembly on December 12”, Behera added.
