Bhubaneswar: Artist L Eswar Rao has crafted a miniature model of a pandal and idol of Lord Ganesh on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
Rao, who hails from Jatni in Khurda district, used a total of 342 sticks for the pandal which stands at a height of 12 inches and is 8 inches wide. He has also placed a 3-inch-high clay idol of Lord Ganesh inside the pandal.
Rao said it took him 15 days to craft the miniature pandal.
He had earlier carved a model of ‘Shiva Linga’ on a pencil nib during Shivs Ratri as well as crafted the Cricket World Cup trophy on a pencil tip using tamarind seeds as a tribute to the Indian team.
