Odisha: Asit Tripathy Resigns As WODC Chairman

Bhubaneswar: Chairman of Western Odisha Development Council (WODC) Asit Tripathy has resigned from his post.

On Saturday, the state government issued an order which stated that Tripathy’s resignation has been accepted.

The office order issued by the Planning and Convergence Department stated, “The resignation of Asit Kumar Tripathy, Chairman to the Western Odisha Development Council (WODC) under the administrative control of P&C Department is hereby accepted from 17.08.2024.”

Tripathy, a 1986-batch Odisha-cadre IAS officer, was appointed WODC Chairman on January 1, 2021, after his retirement as Chief Secretary of Odisha.
