Bhubaneswar: The first session of 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly was adjourned two days ahead of the schedule on Wednesday.
The Assembly session that began on July 22, continued for 25 working days. The session was scheduled to conclude on September 13 with a break from August 1 to 19.
During this session, the state budget for 2024-25 financial year was presented and passed. The Odisha Goods and Services Tax Bill 2024 was also passed on last day of the session.
Speaker Surama Padhi announced adjournment of the Assembly sine die. The session ended with the traditional rendition of the state anthem ‘Bande Utkal Janani’.
