Bhubaneswar: The Secretariat of the Odisha Legislative Assembly on Thursday issued notification for bypolls to one Rajya Sabha seat from Odisha.
The filing of nominations will begin from Thursday (May 26) and continue till June 2. Scrutiny of nominations will be done on June 3. The polling will be held on June 13.
The Rajya Sabha seat fell vacant after Subhash Chandra Singh resigned following his election as Mayor of the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC).
