Odisha Assembly Session From Feb 13, Budget 2025-26 To Be Presented On Feb 17

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will present the State Budget for 2025-26 in the Assembly on February 17.

As per the provisional calendar released by the Assembly Secretariat on Tuesday, the third session of 17th Assembly will begin on February 13 and conclude on April 5.

Chief Minister Majhi, who also holds Finance portfolio, will table the State Budget for 2025-26 on February 17. The general discussion on the Budget will be held on February 20 and 21 while the Appropriation Bill will be presented on March 29.

The Assembly session will begin with the address of Governor Kambhampati Hari Babu followed by the motion of thanks on the Governor’s address.

The Budget session of the Assembly will have total 28 business days as per the provisional calendar.
