Bhubaneswar: The first session of the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly will begin from July 22.
The BJP government will present the annual budget for 2024-25 fiscal on July 25. This will be the BJP government’s maiden budget.
As per the scheduled announced in the official notification, the session will commence with the address of Governor Raghubar Das on July 22.
The election to the post of Deputy Speaker will be held on July 24.
The session will continue till September 13, a notification issued by the Assembly Secretariat stated.

July 23: Announcement in connection with Election of Deputy Speaker. Discussion on Motion of thanks on Governor’s address.
July 24: Election of Deputy Speaker
July 25: Presentation of Budget for 2024-25 financial year
July 29: General discussion on Budget
July 30: Motion on vote on account, discussion on motion on vote on account.
July 31: Appropriation Bill on vote on account
