Bhubaneswar: With three days remaining for the commencement of the monsoon session of the Odisha Assembly, the security wing of the Assembly Secretariat in a notification has directed for mandatory COVID-19 test of mediapersons covering the House proceedings.
The notification further said that the head of the concerned electronic and print media houses have to inform the name and details of their representatives in advance.
As decided. three representatives of the electronic media comprising the reporter, cameraperson and the assistant and one from the print media will be allowed inside the Assembly to cover the proceedings.
Meanwhile, Bhubaneswar Municipal Commission (BMC) commissioner Prem Chandra Chaudhary said that the last phase sanitization of the State Assembly premises will be done on September 28.
The monsoon session of the House will begin on September 29 and conclude on October 7.
