Odisha won the toss and chose to field first. Suryakant Pradhan and Abhishek Rout took two wickets each to bundle out Assam for 136 runs in 46.1 overs.
Chasing a target of 137 runs, Rajesh and Govinda stitched a 102-run second-wicket partnership after Anurag Sarangi (13 off 25 balls) departed early.
