Berhampur: A sex racket, operating from a guest house within Berhampur city limits in Odisha’s Ganjam district, was busted on Monday night.
According to sources, police laid a trap to apprehend the accused red-handed from Tulasi guest house on Tata Benz square in the city after receiving a tip-off about the illegal activities.
Berhampur Superintendent of Police (SP) Saravana Vivek M reached the guest house as a decoy customer and conducted a raid.
Thereafter, he informed the teams of Nuagaon and Baidyanathpurpolice stations, which soon arrived at the spot.
The joint team apprehended 10 persons, including the broker and clients, from the guest house and detained them for questioning. The cops also rescued four women from the hotel.
