Bhubaneswar: In a major success in COVID vaccination, Odisha administered a record of over 4 lakh vaccine doses in a single day, on Monday .
A total of 4,02,434 doses were administered at 1,735 centres. With this, the total number of vaccinations in the state has gone up to 1,24,91,857 doses.
The previous highest achievement in a single day for Odisha was 3,32,717 doses on June 21.
Of the total vaccinations, 1st dose has been given to 1,99,068 and 2nd dose to 2,279 in the 18 to 44 age group.
Similarly, in the 45 years and above group, 1st dose has been administered to 38,518 persons and 2nd dose to 1,61,692 persons till Monday, stated a report by the State health and family Welfare department.
