Bargarh: A bikers duo Madhusudan Mishra and Mitrabhanu Nayak were given a warm welcome at Bargarh on their return from Leh-Ladakh bike expedition.
The bikers duo had set out on the trip from Puri on August 25. On the way, they touched Varanasi, Ayodhya, Delhi to spread a message on solid waste management. They also travelled to Agra, Delhi, J-K, Srinagar and finally to Leh-Ladakh.
The challenging ride came to end on Tuesday with the bikers returning to Bargarh.
“We had ventured on an endeavour to spread message on solid waste management which is posing a major challenge for the society. The changes will happen gradually but the need of the hour is to create awareness,” said Mishra, a journalist.
He was accompanied by Nayak, a mountaineer. Both were felicitated at Bargarh Samlei Mandir this morning by Bargarh residents.
