Bhubaneswar: The ruling BJD party in Odisha has reportedly finalised the names of the MLAs who would be inducted into the Cabinet on Monday.
According to reliable sources, BJD legislators Sudam Marndi, Sarada Nayak and Bikram Keshari Arukha will take oath in a minor reshuffle effected by party president and chief minister Naveen Patnaik.
Three Cabinet berths have been lying vacant after murder of health minister Naba Kishore Das and resignation of labour minister Srikant Sahu and school and mass education minister Samir Ranjan Das.
Bikram Keshari Arukha, who was the Speaker of Odisha Assembly along with Srikant Sahu and Samri Das had tendered their resignations on May 12.
Meanwhile, Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal arrived at Bhubaneswar from his home state Haryana on Sunday evening. He had to cut short his leave and return to Odisha apparently to administer the oath to new Cabinet ministers.
According to reports, the oath taking ceremony will be held at the new convention centre of the Lok Seva Bhawan.
