Bhubaneswar: A student of Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar (BJB) Autonomous College in Bhubaneswar sustained grievous injuries after being stabbed in broad daylight on Sunday.
According to sources, an Integrated MBA student was attacked with a sharp weapon in the afternoon. The student, identified as Shashwat Panda, was grievously injured in the attack.
While the injured student was immediately rushed to a hospital for treatment, two persons have been taken into custody by the Badgada police in connection with the incident. One of the two is states to be a student of BJB College.
The attack took place allegedly done due to past enmity. Investigation into the incident is in progress and further details are awaited.
