Bhubaneswar: All four BJD candidates nominated for the Rajya Sabha elections filed their nominations at the Secretariat of the Odisha Legislative Assembly on Tuesday.
The BJD has nominated Sulata Deo, Manas Ranjan Mangaraj, Sasmit Patra and Niranjan Bishi to fill the vacant seats in the Rajya Sabha from Odisha.
Except Patra, the rest are first-timers.
The scrutiny of nomination papers will be held at 11.30 am on June 1. Withdrawal of nomination papers can be done till 3 pm on June 3.
Voting, if necessary, will be held from 9 am to 4 pm on June 10 in Room Number 54 of the Secretariat.
