Berhampur: Odisha legislator Srikant Sahu and his wife have reportedly tested positive for COVID-19. He is an MLA from Polasara in Ganjam district.
He is the third BJD MLA to have caught the virus.
Earlier, BJP’s Nilagiri MLA Sukanta Kumar Nayak, Remuna MLA Sudhanshu Shekhar Parida and Salepur MLA Prasant Behera had contracted coronavirus.

Nayak has recovered from the infected and discharged from hospital. However, five Odisha Assembly staffers who had attended a meeting with him tested positive for the virus on Thursday. Following which, the assembly has been shut till July 31.
