Baripada: The BJP MLA from Baripada, Prakash Kumar Soren, has been hospitalised and his condition is stated to be critical.
According to sources, the legislator complained of chest pain around 4 pm on Tuesday and was admitted to Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College and Hospital (PRMMCH) here. He was shifted to AIIMS-Bhubaneswar on the advice of the doctors treating him at PRMMCH as he showed no signs of improvement.
Soren had been feeling unwell for the last four days and was earlier undergoing treatment at home. He is unable to talk at the moment and his condition is critical, an associate of the MLA said.
Well-wishers of the BJP leader wished him an early recovery after news of his hospitalisation spread.
