Bhubaneswar: Odisha BJP president Samir Mohanty was admitted to the AIIMS, Bhubaneswar after he tested positive for COVID-19.
The BJP leader in a tweet said that he had undergone the test and the report came positive.
He said though his condition is stable, he has been admitted to the AIIMS on the advice of the doctors.
He has requested the people, who have come in contact with him recently, to undergo the test and isolate themselves.
Apart from Mohanty, three BJP leaders— Nilagiri MLA Sukanta Kumar Nayak, Jayaram Pangi and Bargarh MP Suresh Pujari—have also tested positive for the virus.
