Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has decided to hand over patients’ bodies which are found to be COVID-19 negative at death to family members.
The family members will only be allowed to take the bodies provided they give the undertaking to abide by the COVID protocols.
By the existing protocol, local authorities cremate the body of a patient dying during treatment in consultation with family members.
