Mumbai: Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL) has appointed Arun Misra as its Deputy Chief Executive Officer. HZL is the world’s largest and India’s only integrated producer of zinc-lead and silver. Misra is expected to play a vital role in the company’s expansion projects.
A graduate in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, Misra has a Diploma in Mining and Beneficiation from New South Wales Sydney and another Diploma in General Management from CEDEP, France.
He has earlier vice president, Raw Materials at Tata Steel. He is also the vice president of Indian Institute of Mineral Engineers.
