Bhubaneswar: A 23-year-old boy from Odisha died while playing football at SAI Ground in Kolkata on Saturday.
The deceased, identified as Ritwik Das, is a native of Bhubaneswar and student of National Law University Odisha (NLUO), Cuttack. He is the son of IRS Officer Rashmi Ranjan Das.
According to sources, he collapsed during the All India inter-university football tournament. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
He suffered from severe asthma attack and died, the sources added.
