Bhubaneswar: Odisha boy Kabir Hans won the U-18 singles title at the ARA-AITA National Series Tennis Tournament at Ahmedabad Racket Academy in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
He beat Mohit Bondere of Ahmedabad in the final 6-2, 5-7, 6-2.
He was the first tennis player from Odisha to reach the final of an International Tennis Federation (ITF) Junior (U-18) Tournament in the Uttarakhand Open at Dehradun.
Kabir has taken training in the academy at Ahmedabad. He is a commerce student of KIIT.
