Odisha Boys Pump In Half A Dozen, Ease Into Quarterfinals With Hat-Trick Of Wins

Panjim: Odisha boys pumped in six goals against Mizoram without reply on Monday to storm into the quarterfinals of the 12th Hockey India Sub-Junior Men’s National Championship in Goa.

Odisha thus completed their pool E engagements with an all-win record, having outplayed Kerala and Andhra Pradesh earlier.

Six players got into the scoresheet today. Aryan Xess opened the scoring in the sixth minute, followed by Yojin Minz (15th), Sanjit Tirkey (17th), Rohit Singh (24th), Deonath Nanwar (43rd) and Mahesh More (45th).
