Odisha BSE Announces Dates For Matric Offline Exam; Details Here

Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) on Thursday announced July 30 date for offline exam for Class X students after many of them alleged irregularities in marks awarded to them.

As per a notification by the Board, the matric students unhappy with the marks given in the alternate assessment method can appear for the offline exam which will continue till August 5.

Online form fill-up for the same will be open from July 5 to 14.

As per the timetable, First language will be conducted on July 30 (Friday), followed by Second Language on July 31 (Saturday), Mathematics on August 2 (Monday), Science of August 3 (Tuesday), Social Science of August 4 (Wednesday) and Third Language on August 5 (Thursday).

The timing is as follows:

Earlier, BSE president Ramashis Hazra said denied inconsistency in checking and said the marks were awarded on the basis of their score in two exams and performance during Class 7, 8, 9 and 10.

However, the students were unhappy with the marking process.
