Bhubaneswar: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Saturday released a choice list of document which a voter has to furnish to cast his vote in the by-polls to Balasore and Tirtol Assembly constituencies scheduled on November 3.
According to the ECI, besid
es the Voter I-Card or Electors Photo Identity Card (EPIC) and voter slip, he should carry one of the following document as identity proof:
- Driving Licence
- Photo Identity Card issued by central/state government
- Passbook with photograph issued by a recognised bank or post office
- Health insurance smart card issued by the Ministry of Labour and Employment
- Certificate of address having photo issued by MP/MLA
- MGNREGA job card
- Pension document with a photograph
- NPR Card
- Passport
- Permanent Account Number (PAN) card
- Aadhaar Card
