Odisha Cabinet Approves Rs 1.70-Lakh Crore Budget For 2021-22

Bhubaneswar: The Cabinet on Tuesday approved the State Budget with a total outlay of Rs 1.70 lakh crore for 2021-22 financial year.
The Cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik took 27 important decisions pertaining to different departments.
It approved the 2021 Budget which will be tabled in the State Assembly on Feb 22. Last year, the total outlay was Rs 1.50 lakh crore.

The Cabinet also approved the proposals of handloom & textile, skill devevelopment & technical education, water resources, social security & empowerment of PwDs, women & child development and Mission Shakti, agriculture & farmers’ empowerment, cooperation, finance, forest and environment, general administration & public grievance, health & family welfare, higher education, panchayati raj & drinking water, and, parliamentary affairs departments.
