Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Cabinet which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday decided to provide land for the development of infrastructure of Maa Majhigharianii Temple in Rayagada.
After the Cabinet meeting, Law Minister jagannath Saraka told reporters that approval was granted for lease of land measuring Ac.6.30 decimal in Ramachandrapur under Rayagada tehsil in favour of the Maa Majhighariani Temple Management Trust for development of infrastructure.
Maa Majhighariani Temple Management Trust shall have to pay the nominal annual ground rent of Rs 100 per acre and annual cess @ 75% of the ground rent for such lease.
Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian recently visited the temple and discussed with the temple committee members about the beautification of the temple.
A DPR for beautification of the temple will be submitted in one month and construction work will start within six months.
