Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will chair a cabinet meeting at 5.30 this evening, official sources informed on Tuesday.
The cabinet is likely to discuss over 10 important proposals pertaining to Agriculture, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water, Rural Development, Skill Development, Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities and Revenue departments.
During the last meeting which the CM presided over from the Japanese city of Kyoto on April 9, a proposal for setting up of a ‘Directorate for Odisha Parivar’ to provide the necessary support to Pravasi Odias or Odia people living in other parts of the country and abroad had got the cabinet nod. The files were processed and documents signed through the Odisha State Wide Area Network (OSWAN), entirely through digital mode.
