Bhubaneswar: Odisha cadre IAS officer Rajesh Verma, who is currently serving as the Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, will soon proceed on deputation to the Centre.
He will be deputed as Additional Secretary in the Union Ministry of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers’ Welfare.
A 1987-batch IAS officer, Verma was appointed as the Principal Secretary to CM in January, 2017. He had replaced U. N. Behera. Prior to this, he was the Principal Secretary, Energy.
